Areas of research:

I am a member of the Deep time global change research group at the University of Exeter and funded by the NERC GW4+ DTP. For my research, I am investigating the response of the Indian Monsoon to internal and external climate drivers during the Pliocene and Pleistocene. I will do this by reconstructing changes in sea surface temperature during the Pliocene using the TEX86 and UK37 proxies and investigating changes in productivity, rainfall and runoff of the Indian Monsoon using the stable isotope values and trace element values of planktonic foraminifera.
